The 2026 knowledge-sharing season has officially begun.
Last week, hosted by Paweł Płocki at the TRUMPF Shared Services Office in Warsaw, Adaptive brought together GBS and transformation leaders for another edition of GBS Masters — a cyclical event organized by Adaptive in partnership with Cushman & Wakefield. The session focused on Process Transformation, Automation, and AI, creating a space for open, high-level discussion among industry leaders.
A clear message emerged from the discussions:
automation and AI are no longer a technology challenge — they are a governance challenge.
The discussion, moderated by Michał Bielawski, highlighted several key insights:
-
Automation must be business-driven
Real value is created when ownership sits with process owners, with IT acting as an enabler — not a gatekeeper. -
No process change means no ROI
End-to-end simplification and standardization must come before RPA, AI, or low-code. Otherwise, inefficiencies are simply scaled. -
Central IT often limits speed and scale
Long decision cycles and focus on large systems can block smaller, high-impact, high-ROI initiatives. -
Low-code is changing the rules
It enables faster scaling and brings automation capabilities closer to the business. -
Mindset matters more than tools
Sustainable transformation requires process expertise, technological foundations, and the courage to challenge the status quo.
As one conclusion made clear:
The real question is no longer “How many bots do we have?” — it’s “How mature is our ability to change?”
The following day, Adaptive was hosted by Łukasz Wielochowski at the Moderna Enterprise Solutions Hub in Warsaw, where participants had the opportunity to explore the center and learn about Moderna’s latest AI implementations and best practices.
We would like to thank all participants for the insightful discussions, meaningful networking, and valuable conversations behind the scenes.
Special thanks to our hosts at TRUMPF and Moderna for welcoming Adaptive once again.
The next edition of GBS Masters will take place in April and will focus on Business Acumen in GBS.
