The October edition of the Adaptive GBS Masters series took place on 29–30 October 2025 in Łódź, bringing together senior leaders from across the GBS, SSC, and BPO sectors for another round of inspiring discussions, insightful exchanges, and valuable networking.
This time, participants explored the complex and highly relevant topic: “How Geopolitics and Offshoring Trends Shape Process Scope for GBSs in Poland.” The theme, chosen by attendees of the previous edition, reflected growing interest in understanding how shifting global dynamics and evolving offshoring models impact the future of GBS operations in Poland and across Europe.
The meeting followed its well-established format — focusing on one key topic to allow for a deep, experience-driven discussion. The group, composed exclusively of C-level executives managing centers or processes within the GBS sector, engaged in an open dialogue about the current and future challenges facing the industry. The conversation was only lightly moderated, ensuring that every participant had space to share their perspective and exchange best practices.
Key discussion points included:
-
How geopolitical developments may affect the GBS landscape in Poland and Europe,
-
The evolution of offshoring and its potential implications for regional competitiveness,
-
The possible influence of U.S. economic and political policy on the European GBS market,
-
And, more broadly, how global uncertainties are reshaping process scope and strategic decision-making within organizations.
The event began on 29 October at Adaptive’s headquarters in Łódź (Plac Wolności 3) with a welcome and networking session, followed by a three-hour roundtable discussion. The meeting concluded with an evening networking dinner, offering participants a chance to continue the conversation in a more informal setting and build stronger business relationships.
The following day, 30 October, participants attended a site visit at Nordea, where they had the opportunity to explore the company’s process management model, automation approach, and innovative solutions supporting operational excellence.
The two-day event once again confirmed the value of the GBS Masters format — an intimate and focused environment where leaders can exchange views, learn from one another, and collectively reflect on the directions in which the GBS industry is heading.
As always, the meeting provided not only inspiration and new perspectives but also strengthened the community of professionals shaping the future of business services in Poland.
