What a night!
Yesterday’s GBS Lions Talks by Adaptive – From Vision to Value: GPOs Leading GBS Transformation in Katowice was a real success — full of insights, open conversations, and inspiring energy from the GBS community.
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us — and to our incredible speakers who shared their experience on how GPOs are reshaping the way GBS creates value.

🔹 Robert Godziszewski (Adaptive Solutions & Advisory Group)
GPOs are more than process owners — they’re transformation catalysts, working across business, strategy, and delivery levels. But they face real challenges: unclear reporting lines, misaligned priorities, and limited tech support. What drives success? Empowerment, communication, change leadership — and readiness for automation.
🔹 Adam Mroczkowski (Rockwell Automation)
GBS holds the data and expertise to act as a value center, not just a delivery engine. GPOs should focus on business impact: working capital, cash flow, spend strategies — and take the lead on automation, even without heavy IT resources. Integration and bold decisions unlock the next level of value.
🔹 Marcin Sujczynski (Stanley Black & Decker, Inc.)
Great collaboration across Business–GBS–BPO starts with mindset, clear roles, and mutual trust. Leaders must set the tone, drive flexibility, and ensure continuous improvement backed by the right KPIs. Cultural awareness and communication are key to navigating global complexity.
🔹 Lan Milena Quan van (TRUMPF)
Automation doesn’t have to wait for big budgets or central IT. With the right mindset, curiosity, and accessible tools like RPA or Power Apps, teams can drive change from within. Real progress happens when teams are empowered to build and learn — even if solutions evolve gradually.
