Summer Mobile Office Week (SMOW) 2023, our annual integration trip, was a delightful fusion of professional growth and pure enjoyment. With the dedicated efforts of the marketing and Would You teams, this year’s theme was a blast from the past: the fabulous 90s!
For those of us who recently joined Adaptive, including myself, SMOW was the perfect initiation into the company’s culture and a chance to form lasting connections. The training sessions, led by industry experts, did more than just impart knowledge and skills; they encouraged self-discovery and improved our relationships. These sessions were finely tuned to align with our company’s objectives, ensuring they were not only informative but also highly engaging.
Our company’s vision and mission were evident throughout SMOW, shaping our approach to teamwork and client satisfaction. We were reminded that our ability to tailor solutions to specific needs, provide adequate resources at all levels, and consistently exceed client expectations is what sets us apart. Our core values, including Transparency, Inspiration, Membership, and Empowerment, guided us in every activity, reinforcing our commitment to excellence.
The week also featured thrilling water activities, from stand-up paddleboarding to motorboat rides and jet ski adventures. These heart-pounding experiences injected an exhilarating dose of adrenaline into our days, leaving us eager for more.
Our 90s-themed activities, including the Adaptiliada and the Wheel of Fortune, brought laughter and fantastic rewards. However, the crown jewel of our entertainment lineup was undoubtedly the Playback Show. Teams brought iconic 90s songs and scenes, reminiscent of Roxette and Celine Dion, back to life with hilarious and memorable performances.
Working by the sea was an inspiring experience that invigorated our creativity and productivity. The sound of the waves and the refreshing sea breeze provided the perfect backdrop for our tasks.
In summary, SMOW 2023 was a resounding success, offering a harmonious blend of learning, fun, and team building. We extend our gratitude to the marketing team and Team Would You for their exceptional organization. As we bid farewell to Jastarnia, we carry with us cherished memories, enhanced knowledge, strengthened connections, and a deepened commitment to our company’s vision, mission, and values. We are now even more ready to contribute effectively to our company’s mission, eagerly anticipating the next SMOW adventure.
And from this new team member’s perspective, these were indeed fantastic first days with Adaptive, and SMOW was a brilliant idea for integrating newcomers.
