Seriously, it does not matter whether you have 10 years of experience or you are just at the beginning of your career path. We have various job offers (check here) so there is no need to hesitate- just apply: )
Of course, we realize that the recruitment process in our company may be uncomfortable for you- sometimes the recruiter calls you on the next day, sometimes after 3 months but trust us- if we decide you are a perfect match for us, we are going to contact you for sure.
More explanation about the differences between recruitment processes in point 5.
Let us be honest, flexibility in Poland is still quite young. As a result, you may find that many companies talk about it but in reality, they want you to be in the office every day from 8 a.m. till 4 p.m. Quite an unpleasant surprise if it is one of key factors for you.
As the name of our company suggests, we are adaptive and try to arrange everything with our clients in such a way that you are satisfied with it. For Krystian and Michał, in the long run, it does not matter whether you would like to stay at your own house or you prefer to visit office every day. Both ways are fine with them as long as you work.
However, it must be said that we do expect flexibility also from you. If the client needs you to be at his/her office, we encourage you to take this into consideration and work on the plan together.
To give you an example. We hire not only specialists from our hometown Lodz. In our Adaptive Group Team, e.g. Krystyna and Arek live in a completely different location and this is fine with us. We trust each other and if it is necessary, we meet- either in Lodz or the other city. They also spend time at their clients' headquarters if needed.
In Adaptive, there is no room for boredom. We have various projects concerning different areas: you can take care of HR, Master Data, Strategy Consulting, F&A etc. What it means for you is that you can develop your skills across wide range of topics and become a multi-skilled consultant.
What is more, we observed that even though at first sight some of the projects are not connected with each other at all, still at the end it is an added value for you to have experience in both. It definitely widers your perspective and helps you to propose innovative ideas which combine various fields together.
The life of consultant looks quite different than other people. You often travel from place to place in order to get the best results for your client. Of course, all depends on the scope of your project. Remember our junior consultant Galyna? Even though, she is at the beginning of her career, still the client is very satisfied with cooperation and asked her to travel from branch to branch in order to teach others.
On the other hand, we have our experience consultants who also travel e.g. Magdalena and Amal who had the opportunity to visit Kazakhstan last year.
However, if you have important family matters or some other stuff and have to stay at home- we are going to do our best to reach a compromise. Sometimes visits abroad are a must, sometimes not.
It is no secret that adaptability in our company is one of the most crucial aspects of work. The period of projects and the expectations of our clients may change across time and it is key to react accordingly.
How does it work in practice? Well, to give you an example- Magdalena had a project that was supposed to end after several month. However, the client was so happy with her engagement that she received another responsibilities & roles and the whole enterprise took about 3 years.
On the other hand, it may be the case that the client decides to narrow down the project only to the basics so the period is going to be shortened or the client’s budget will not allow to start a project at all.
All in all, expect the unexpected: )
If you like something very much or just the opposite, there is no reason to hide it. Just say it. Krystian and Michał are here to listen, brainstorm and help you. If you need extra pair of hands, inform. It is important for us to talk honestly about both successes and challenges, learn from each other and support.
Our business is quite specific- sometimes we do not see each other for months as e.g. Kasia is in Warsaw and Justyna in Paris. That is why, it is crucial to have contact via online tools and be up-to-date what others do.
This is one of the quotes by our dear client Daikin (you can watch the full testimonial here). Well, probably you have already noticed that apart from work, we also truly engage in having fun. Why not?
Twice a year (sometimes more), we have special gatherings (winter & summer) far away from office and spend time on discussions, development and parties. The aim is not only to exchange information and knowledge but also to relax and unwind. Some of the projects are quite challenging so we make sure to have some time just for ourselves.
We all know those parties at work that are so boring and bad that you want to run away. Not to mention spending time with colleagues you do not like.
In Adaptive, we do our best to make sure every new expert joining our Adaptive Group Team has the same values and kind of humour like the rest of us. Of course, it is not picture perfect and sometimes we do quarrel but all in all, everybody cannot wait for our gatherings.
No matter how much money you earn, without the opportunity to develop you are going to burn out sooner or later. You may have the best work on earth but if you are standing in one place and there is no room to climb, it is going to be a disaster.
We perfectly know this scenario. Through our career paths, most of us have worked several years in this or that company and it was not always a dream come true. That is why, if you become the Adaptive Group Team member (permanent employment contract), you will have a specific budget that you can spend on anything you want- either it is a gym membership or postgraduate studies (e.g. like Joanna).
How many times you have done something and what you have heard in exchange was… silence? There is no such option in Adaptive. All of us use “thank you” on daily basis, also bosses. Why? Because we believe that you are THE person, not A person and you deserve appreciation. Being grateful is being human.
Of course, we realize that in some cases “thank you” should be accompanied with more material type of “thank you” and we act accordingly; )

Human aspects and automation? Two contradictory thoughts. Automation leads to minimizing human intervention – that is completely true but you cannot underestimate the importance of the Teams engagement during project planning.
MoreIt may look strange, two great Rock Legends side by side in a serious magazine. Well, I thought that this is how I would get your attention and I guess that they match really well to the topic which I would like to talk about. Today I want to share with you my subjective, view on Lean implementation and why sometimes it’s a nightmare. Do I have enough experience to speak about Lean? I believe so, in my career I went from Lean hater to Lean enthusiast.
