The PRO Tiger Awards is about recognizing organizations, leaders, and innovators who set new standards in their fields. This year, Adaptive has been shortlisted thanks to our Buddy Program – Onboarding with a Human Touch.
Starting a new job can be overwhelming — new people, new rules, new systems. Our Buddy Program was created to make this transition easier, warmer, and more human. Every newcomer is paired with a Buddy: a colleague who welcomes them on day one, answers every question, helps navigate our culture, and remains a trusted companion throughout the first three months.
Unlike traditional onboarding, the Buddy Program is built on connection and empathy. It is supported by the 4C framework (Connection, Culture, Compliance, Clarification) and enriched with a community of Buddies, a recognition system, structured support, and even the title of Buddy of the Year. For new hires, it means confidence, belonging, and a smoother start. For our culture, it means relationships that last beyond onboarding.
This nomination is more than recognition of a program — it’s a celebration of our belief that we don’t onboard positions, we onboard people.
