We are delighted to share truly exciting news: Adaptive has won the Pro Progressio: PRO Tiger Award 2025 in the category of Best Onboarding Practice. This recognition is an incredible honor for us and a powerful validation of the way we approach one of the most important moments in every employee’s journey — the very beginning.
The PRO Tiger Awards are one of the most respected competitions in our industry. Organized by Pro Progressio, they bring together companies, leaders, and innovators from across Poland who are redefining the way organizations operate and grow. To be selected as a winner in such a prestigious and competitive arena is not only a great distinction, but also an inspiration to continue shaping the future of work with people at the center.
Our winning project, the Buddy Program – Onboarding with a Human Touch, is something we are especially proud of. It was born from a simple but powerful belief: starting a new job should feel like joining a community, not just filling out forms and learning processes. We wanted every newcomer at Adaptive to feel welcomed, supported, and confident from their very first day.
Here is how it works. Each new team member is paired with a Buddy — a colleague who takes on the role of guide, companion, and trusted support throughout the first three months. The Buddy welcomes the newcomer on their very first day, introduces them to the team and our culture, and answers any question, no matter how big or small. From finding out where the coffee machine is, to navigating our systems, to understanding unwritten rules of the workplace — the Buddy is there every step of the way.
What makes our program unique is its foundation in the 4C model of onboarding (Connection, Culture, Compliance, Clarification), combined with Adaptive’s own human-centric philosophy. The Buddy Program goes far beyond orientation sessions or checklists. It is a structured initiative with its own community, recognition system, training, and even the title of Buddy of the Year. This gives the role prestige and motivation, while also ensuring that Buddies themselves feel supported in supporting others.
The results speak for themselves. Our newcomers report stronger connections, faster integration, and greater confidence in their roles. They highlight not only practical guidance, but also the emotional comfort of knowing there is always someone to turn to. For Adaptive, this has translated into higher engagement, stronger cultural alignment, and a workplace where people genuinely feel they belong.
