On the 10th of December 2016, we took active part in the Warsaw Economic Hub (WEH) – set of an annual international business leader’s meetings focusing on issues of key importance to the CEE region, Europe and the world, seen through the perspective of Poland as an international interactive business and economic hub.
It has already been the 8th edition of the Conference. This time, with the theme of the conference “New Chapter. In the run-up to 2020”, the discussions focused on Poland in the Region and the World in 2016 and beyond from the perspective of risks, challenges, opportunities and threats. Every year the meeting attracts investors, representatives of business, politics as well as economy experts.
The event was held in InterContinental Hotel in Warsaw. With great number of prestigious speakers – amongst others: Guenter Verheugen, Jan Krzysztof Bielecki, Former Prime Minister and Chairman of the Partners Board at EY Poland, Henryka Bochniarz, President of Confederation Lewiatan, Danuta Hübner, Poland first-ever European Commissioner, Wiesław Rozłucki, Chairman of the Exchange Supervisory Board of the Warsaw Stock Exchange and set of former Finance Ministers of Poland and CEE countries – the event attracted a lot of investors, representatives of business as well as economy experts.
Krystian Bestry – our Chief Executive Officer – took part in the plenary discussion panel – “Metropolitan areas in Poland: The biggest challenges and the prospects”, where he gave a business perspective on marketing processes, activities and focus required for cities to improve their perception and brand recognition in the eyes of global investors.
