We are pleased to inform that Adaptive Group cooperates with Katowice City Hall in the area of comprehensive support in PR and marketing strategy defined for the business services sector.
Katowice is a dynamically developing city, located in the very heart of the Katowice Agglomeration of over 2 million people with nearly 300 000 residents. It is an important Polish and CEE academic, cultural and economic centre. Currently, the city goes through the process of change („Katowice – for a change”) from the image of the city that is identified mainly with the heavy industry to the city of culture and centre of business services sector.
Katowice and the Katowice Agglomeration is a perfect location for the development of the Business Process Outsourcing/Information Technology Outsourcing centres (BPO/ITO), Shared Services Centres (SSC) and Research & Development centres (R&D). The City undertakes numerous initiatives, designed to create a favourable atmosphere for business development, which are: investment incentives, excellent science and research facilities (over 40 higher education institutions), adequate human resources (pool of over 135 000 students of technical, science and linguistic faculties), convenient location and unique character of this area. Currently, there are more than 64 foreign investors from BPO/SSC and ITO sector who decided to invest in Katowice / Katowice Agglomeration.
A wide range of prestigious awards prove that the efforts made by the City are highly acknowledged. These include among others: (1) according to fDi Magazine, the runner-up regarding the foreign direct investment promotion strategy – „Ranking Polish Cities of the Future 2015/2016”. In the report it was stressed that: the jury was impressed by the international range and the direct investment promotion strategy; (2) „ABSL Excellence Award” – granted during the 6th edition of ABSL for Katowice in the category: „Leader in percentage of employment in SSC with foreign capital in Poland”; or (3) the winner of the contest “Poland Grows Beautiful. 7 Wonders of the European Funds” in the category: „Culture and art” –obtained for the construction of the new seat of the National Polish Radio Orchestra in Katowice.
The established cooperation between Adaptive Group and Katowice City Hall ensures not only constant access to the informationfrom business services sector but also active support in positioning the City as a leading location for such investments in the region.
